John Syme.

John has an interest in his home town, Clydebank.

His page is about the Millennium Link.

He hopes to found a site highlighting a number of local issues and raising the profile of the area.

He is particularly concerned about the environment and community safety issues.

Mr. John McNicol

I am 29 years old and have been working as a computer technician for over 6. My main duties have been repairs/maintenance of PC's and Help desk support. The reason I came to the OU was because I don't have any official qualifications in my chosen field of IT/Computing.

I have chosen for my web page the topic of Space Exploration. This is quite a wide area so I decided to narrow thing down to the Exploration of Mars. I think this is quite topical at the moment due to the resent missions. It  has even filter through to the film industry and we seem to have a spate of film releases on Mars related issues.

Ms Anne Campbell

Since week one in T171 I have gone from technophobe to author of a web page in ten weeks(pass me the lavender oil!) I suspect it’s passed so quick I can’t even recall some of it. Some of it I still don’t know-no problems recalling that.

I am hopeful that this may be a new road to future pleasure and perhaps employment. Thanks for all the support and encouragement (You know who you are!!!)

Mr. Garry Henderson

I am currently in the mechanical engineering field and feel that technology, especially in the computer world, is moving at a phenomenal speed. This is the reason I am taking this course and for my chosen subject.
My subject is AIBO (Artificial Intelligence ro-BO-t), made by Sony and claiming to be the first AI "toy" which thinks for itself. I hope you enjoy my site and the subject matter therein.
